Mona Sinha is the Global Executive Director of Equality Now, an organization that uses the power of the law to dismantle systemic injustice to create enduring equality for women and girls everywhere. She is a globally recognized advocate for gender equity with over 25 years of experience in strengthening over 90 mission-driven organizations. She has been widely influential as an early adopter and champion of impact investing which utilizes a gender-inclusive lens to build dedicated funding resources and meaningful partnerships to uplift women, girls, and marginalized communities. Aligning her passion for social justice with her early experience working in the corporate sector, she has catalyzed well over $1 billion to fund progressive projects and grassroots movements to elevate women through economic agency and leadership opportunities.
Mona serves on several non-profit boards with a focus on governance, strategy, and sustainability. She is the Board Chair of Women Moving Millions and formerly chaired the Equal Rights Amendment Coalition’s Fund for Women’s Equality. She also currently serves on the Executive Council of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum, which will be built on the Washington Mall.
