Rachel curated the “White House Conference on Next Gen Philanthropy & Impact Investing” for the Obama Administration and Co-Chaired the G8 Young Summit. She worked closely with the Obama/Biden White House to launch the “It’s On Us” campaign to address sexual assault on campus and founded The Survivor Initiative which raises millions of dollars in support of US Holocaust survivors living in poverty.
Rachel received the “Beacon Award” from the Ellis Island Honors Society and the “Making Change/Making History Award” from the Jewish Women’s Archive, was named in the “99 Most influential Foreign Policy Leaders Under 33” by the Diplomatic Courier and is a member of the inaugural class of the Sorenson Impact Center’s “Global Impact Leaders”.
Rachel serves on the Board of Directors of the Birthright Israel Foundation, on the Advisory Council of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, on the Next Gen Council of the USC-Shoah Foundation and on the Governing Committee of Lifestyles Magazine. She is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
